Our Mission

Australians are facing a childhood obesity crisis. We help families in the pursuit of a healthier future, both inside and outside the home
Eat Active promotes a fun and healthy lifestyle for children of all ages – aiming to educate and motivate children to lead a more active life.
Assisting families by creating useful resources to inform parents and children. We discuss ideas in our Eat Active Blog and provide a Social Media community to talk about issues, have conversations, and share ideas.
Eat Active leads the charge against childhood obesity and makes an impact on the front line – by offering nutritional meals to children. Ultimately aiming to help families, venues, and our greater community.
Our Endorsement

Eat Active endorses a menu of healthy kids meals that are served by venues
When eating out with kids it can be hard to find healthy options, a struggle we understand. That’s why we’ve endorsed a range of healthy kid’s meals. Giving parents the option to fuel their kids with delicious food when eating out, guilt-free.
Eat Active endorsed meals are simple dishes that kids know and love, with a wide range to choose from. Set out on a fun and exciting menu that appeals to children.
When you see Eat Active options know that you can nourish your child with affordable, tasty and nutritious food that they’ll enjoy.
You’ll find them conveniently located in many of your local venues, with more venues joining the mission each week.

Our Story

Supported by SA Health Eat Active formed with passion and purpose to serve our community
In early 2018, two purposeful entrepreneurs took on SA Government’s D3 Digital Challenge to combat poor and unhealthy eating options for children across food venues. Along the way, they formed a team of innovative young entrepreneurs, who were passionate to make an impact – we became the Eat Active Team.
Working with SA Health, we blended our expertise and passions together to help venues create kid’s meals that balanced nutrition and taste, whilst promoting physical activity among children. To better understand the community, we conducted extensive research trialing of our products across several venues, speaking to parents and children.
Today we strive to help tackle the complex issue of preventing obesity and poor nutrition among Australian children.
